Saturday 29th July 2006*

went out with the Lovelies to the Esplanade. this time, without Mus cos she couldn't hang out. as far as i know, this is the first time she wasn't allowed to hang out with us due to her ~~brother's~~ engagement. teehee ! =p well, Lut, Rad and i went to her house to drag her out.. but to no avail. boohoo. it's ok, next k Mus ! =)

we were supposed to watch the fireworks. we were anticipating the fireworks. but in the end, my sister got to watch it from HOME and we didn't see a bloody damn thing ! =_= ! but it's ok. all's not wasted cos we had FUN~ hee !

all of us came [except Mus] with a new addition, Ishaaq who's Shev's beau. hehe. sweet la korg. guey sungguh envy sama kamu berdua, dong ! hehe.

we had dinner at Hot Halal Cafe which.. erm.. i don't recommend. OOPS ! well.. it has something to do with the drinks. erm.. OOPS ! but love the Madagascar thingy ! so hot and spicy ! i love ! hehe. thanks Raddee for the treat ! i feel so bad.. it's ok ! my 1st real pay, i treat you guys plaks OK !

of course while eating, i was looking at the dark sky for some colourful lights. but still.. no fireworks. then, Ishaaq treated us ice creams. thanks Ishaaq ! love the ice cream ! so chocolatey. yummay~

after all that stuffing, we went up to the rooftop to wait for the fireworks again.. but, yep you guessed it.. NO FIREWORKS ! HAMPEH ! to compensate for that, we took lotsa pixies ! haha.

Sulala, Feez, Ben and i went to PS to watch Superman~

ok guys, i take back what i said about the movie. it's NICE lei ! i like ! haha. well, the reason why i thought it was boring:
- no Tommy.
- everybody i know who watched it says it's crap and not worth the money.

but hey, Brandon looks kinda cute. just a wee bit. hehe. when he's Clark. but he looks funny when he's Superman. get what i mean ? in short, he looks geekishly cute in specs !! but he looks erm.. weird in Superman costume. period. but i'd choose Tommy over Brandon anytime, baby.

and the story's not that bad at all. well, the plot was kinda stupid to me. the whole Lex planning to make new land and destroy America thingy ? wha- ? pointless ?! but in my opinion, i think Lex is the only colourful character in the show. he's eccentric and funny. he's just Lex. haha. and i think Kate Bosworth's sooo not Lois Lane type. i hate her black hair. hahaha. i think she's better off blonde. she reminds me of Natalie Portman in the movie. only less pretty. hah. the movie lacks humour too. they need to add more funny scenes to make it.. well.. less boring. i love the effects, though !

but it's not as bad as what they say. i'd give it a 3. go watch before it's gone ! it's not that bad, really. trust me. =D

KC Week*

this week had been fun. yea, i know. i had been complaining for the first two days.. but hey, it wasn't really that bad after all.

for the first time ever, i feel so useful as a relief teacher.

for the first time ever, i'm teaching Malay to malays and non-malays alike. yes, me and Malay Language. finally getting along. quite well i think =) but i'm not getting my hopes up. i'm still a disgrace to the Malay community. oops ? heh.

teaching an all-girls school is very different from teaching a mixed school. i've never entered an all-girls in my whole freaking life and frankly i thought that things would get boring without goofy lil monkeys [a.k.a boys. no offense] hanging around my back.

the first day was definitely a bore. i didn't know anyone except Faizah and the students weren't really that friendly. so yea, gave them some work to do and i ended up studying for Final Theory =X

from Tuesday onwards, things got better. the students were more talkative and we interacted well. well.. for most of the students. others just couldn't be bothered to listen to a relief teacher. oh well.

i absolutely love the Sec 1 students. they're super hyper and they remind me of Springfield students. and it so happens that one of the student's a grandchild of my mum's friend. what a small world, huh ? what's sad was that she told me the cute guy living one floor up is already engaged. haiya !! so not the news i've been dying to hear tau. hahaha.

and she's so funny. revealing a lil something-something about me:-
kids: "cikgu ! cikgu ade matair tak ? [cher, you have a boyfriend ?]"
me: "takde la. [no la.]"
kids: "bedek sey, cikgu. cikgu sti ade tau. [you're lying, cher. confirm have.]"
me: *laughs* "betul la, saye takde matair [really, i don't have one.]"
her [my mum's friend's grandchild. heh]: "cikgu takde la. nenek saye cakap kan.. cikgu ni balek skola, balek rumah terus. [this teacher doesn't have one la. my grandma said that this teacher always go home straight from school.]"
me: "aik ? macam mane nenek awak tahu ? [how does your grandma know ?]"
her: "mak cikgu bilang nenek saye. hehe. [your mum told my grandma.]"
me: =_= ! thanks ah, mother !

well, that was kinda true. for a geek as myself. heh.

anyways, though i miss the Springfield kids alot, i was kinda hoping that i'd be down for RT at KC. hee~ i have been doing alot of marking everyday ! i like ! HEHE.

the only thing i absolutely hate about the whole KC thing.. is waiting for the freaking buses. i hate waiting. waiting is just not my thing.

anyhoo, i'll be having my 3rd practical tomorrow. i think my instructor thinks i'm a klutz. i can't argue with that. i'm born a klutz. and proud of it ? heh ?

ohyea.. i still haven't watch Dead Man's Chest. and the darn complimentary tix can't be use for that. grrrrrrrrr. so, i think we'll be watching Superman on Sunday since the tix are bound to expire anytime soon. though i already know the ending. baaaaddd movie. BOO !!

p.s: i wanna watch Lake House as well !

for the past two days, i experienced a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

i was grinning to sleep at 3am and woke up with a.. n0t-so-happy feeling when i started to think about the previous conversation. it wasn't awkward at all, suprisingly.
it was a fun conversation but i guess i expected too much.

anyways, since yesterday was Fidz's birthday, we actually planned to have dinner at Ramen 10.

my day started out with taking my FTT E-trial test at CDC. bumped into Fauzi who was taking the test as well. and just like most guys, he's taking motorcycle lessons. tak ku faham korang lelaki ni. i mean.. dangerous kan. haha. up to you guys la eh. anyways.. i failed the test la since i haven't finished studying. but it's ok, only E-trial mahhh. besides, i've jotted down some of the questions that i memorised during the session. HEHE !

after that, waited for Suhaila at ATM Challenger. i was watching Keanu in Matrix Revolutions [which was showing on one of the display TVs on sale] when i turned and saw Mr Director ! at that point of time, i couldn't really tell what i was feeling [sugar-rushed ?] cos it was all too unexpected for me. it's been ages since i've seen him sia. and he actually turned and looked at me as if he recognised me [which i dun think he does la] and i quickly looked down. dengs. ya lor, i should have smiled right ? but.. i'm super shy can. i watched him ago again. sighs. but boy, 1 year in NS did him good man. haha. he looks soooo..........

but i guess he doesn't have the personality to match his looks. i think.. based on the MSN chats. well, people tend to be different on- and offline right ? i guess *shrugs* oh well.

finally, Suhaila came. my initial plan was to buy a pair of earphones only. but ended up buying a pair of brown pants and a sweater as well. =_= ! i just got my pay and i spent it so impulsively when i actually have to save that for my driving stuffs. argh ! well, actually i'm not really a shopper. but when i start to shop, only God can save me. well, at least i'm spending my own money, right. so it's alright. i guess ? argh ! i need a financial advisor !

ohyea did i mention that the security alarm kept going off whenever me and Suhaila enter/leave Metro/Isetan ?! and i knew it was me. no lor, i didn't steal anything k. me ? STEAL ?! Ms Goody-Two-Shoes doesn't steal k. i knew it has something to do with the earphones i got from Challenger. bloody. it was so embarassing. of course, i was lucky that no one stopped me or it would be superkeduper embarassing. well, this wasn't the case at Borders. read on..

met Feez and at the end of the shopping trip, met Mr Botak, Din ! hahaha. klakar laaaa bila kau botak. HAHA. oops. heeee. Suhaila couldn't join us so she went home and the rest of us went to Wheelock to watch Feez's friend perform. since the show was delayed, we decided to walk around for a lil bit. went to the Ipod shop where Feez triggered the security alarm.. cos my earphones was in his bag. HAHA. to further confirm that it was my new earphones that triggered it, Din held on to them and went in. and yep, you guessed it. the alarm went off. hah. and i really wanted to go into Borders to check out some new books. so threw the packaging away, hoping that the security system would finally shut up. but then, it went off again !

when we were about to leave Borders, i thought the 2 bodyguards of mine [Feez and Din] would have my back when i leave the place and trigger the Goddamn alarm. but noooo, they just HAD to stop and look at something and left me embarassed at the entrance ! =_= didn't i tell you the guys i meet are all TAK GUNA. haha =p anyways, the security guard approached me, sia. superkeduper paisey, can. so i told him it was my earphones and told him to check my bag if he didn't believe me. and so he did. sighs. i'm never stepping into that place EVER. thanks eh, guys. HAH.

after that, went to Wheelock again and saw Shah from Anugerah Skrin ! haha. handsome, can. actually i didn't really watch the competition. only watched the Finals. HEH. he lost. boohoo. but i like his teeth !

saw Harlequin Monologue in action. i thought they were really good except that i couldn't really hear the vocal's voice clearly.

Faisal No-Sideburns [haha !] joined us a few minutes after and we headed for prayers.

then the plan of eating at Ramen 10 was cancelled. went to Cahaya instead [saw Mr Nice Teeth a.k.a Shah again !] where Fidz and Faizah were waiting. had our dinner and talked about stuffs. well, more like listening to NS stories by our two NS boys. =_= haha.

so yea, that's that. went home after that. hope you enjoyed it, Fidz ! =)

overall, past two days had been good. him, Mr Director, Shah. HAHA.

Upgrading SUCKS !*

my whole area is currently undergoing some upgrading thingy that is estimated to complete by 2008.

crap.

the upgrading thingy includes:

some fancy looking multi-storey carpark.

some fancy looking mini-roundabout for bicycles i think ? =_= i don't know la. seems pointless to me.

some fancy looking lifts with see-through windows and hopefully a camera which, i think, we soooo need. so that we can bust those smokers' be-hinds for smoking in the bloody lifts. and them retards who pee in the lifts.

there are also upgrades to be done here in the wonderful place i call, home:

revamping of toilets, which i think we need.

revamping of the windows, which i think we don't need.

and the upgrading of my house is scheduled to be done in October and estimated to last for about 10 days.

CRAP. 10 freaking days without the toilet. Ramadan somore. can you believe that ?! of course, they won't leave us to stink up the whole building. they will actually provide us with this temporary public toilets similar to these:

diaoz. and they expect us to BATHE there ?!

well on the other hand, i might just bump into the cute guy living one floor up. HEH.

he's got a mole on the top-right of his lip ! same as me ! HAHA. *slaps self* i think he has a dash of Kaka and Tom Cruise. anyways, he's an actor on the currently-showing Life As We Know It.

it's showing on Starworld and it's basically about 3 friends and their outlook in life and.. well, girls. haha. very interesting and funny show.. must watch ! or download for that matter, GO !

An Update*

nothing interesting has happened lately hence my absence from the blogging world.

so here's a brief update:

i'm still jobless. in dire need of a part-/full-time job. of course i have done my part in finding one. only recently started doing that after my dad asked my mum to find a job =X i feel so guilty as though i have disappointed him. that, no doubt in my mind, is the worst feeling i ever had. a heartbreak doesn't even come close. so I HAVE TO FIND A JOB AND EASE HIS MIND ! Ya Allah, the Almighty ! please give me a halal-paying job (the higher the pay, the better $_$ !) AMINNNNN ! ohyea, if any of you guys have any job recommendations, feel free to tell me :D thank you !

i'll be taking my Final Theory next month. and i have gone for my 1st ever practical lesson. sucks, can. i hate manual. i want auto ! (yes, i want the easy way out) but my dad wants me to take manual (amidst all the protests i got from my friends when i told them i wanted to take auto) so i had no choice but to give in. and i think after about 2 lessons or so, my instructor will give up on me =S
here's why:-
intructor: "increase speed.."
me: *decreases speed*
instructor: "depress the clutch.."
me: *releases pressure on clutch..*
i seemed to be doing the opposite of what he told me to do ! =_= ! it was a reflex action, sia. really. i'm not trying to be defiant. please.. me ? defiant ?! KIDDING ?! i just don't like to take instructions. i'm one who wants to try out stuffs before asking or taking any instructions. i really felt like i want to shut him out totally and just drive the way i want to. but of course, i'm the dumb one here, so i had better shut up or remain stupid forever.

still relief teaching at Springfield and dealing with the same ol' students.

and last but not least, no, i'm not in love.

FORZA ITALIA !*

though my World Cup basically ended right after the Italians kicked the Germans' butts in the Quarters, i stayed up to watch the finals just to see which team will eventually Outwit, Outplay and Outlast the other. besides, it's the Finals ! how can i, or anyone for that matter, miss that ?!

after everything was over.. it came to light: the Italians truly deserved it. i'm only saying that in terms of they perservered throughout the season, amidst critics and skeptics (like myself) and eventually shut everybody up (including me) by beating Les Bleus to the Cup. i still, however, think that they should play with more integrity. Cannavaro did a lil dive in that match =x and Materazzi said something to Zizou that probably cost France their World Cup win.

it was definitely shocking to see the usually calm, reserved and most respected player in current football history, Zizou, butt headed Materazzi in the chest at the 111th minute. Materazzi must have insulted him and Zidane, of all players, should know better not to jeopardise the match at the most crucial time of the season. rumour has it that Materazzi called Zidane a terrorist due to his Islamic ancestry [ISH. i'd have kicked his butt instead of butt heading him. heh]. others said that the Italian called his sister a prostitute. twice. and Zidane's agent only revealed that "it was a serious thing". now doesn't that spark a huge chunk of curiosity ?! i wanna know what Materazzi said la ! anyways, to me, it was a 50-50 situation. both were to be blamed. but i guess people put the blame was more on Zizou, who was named Fifa World Cup Player 2006, despite his costly mistake. i mean, just look at yesterday's papers. and today even. they went, why did zidane do that ? why zizou ?! what got into his head ? the shocking incident even overshadowed the news about the Azzurris winning the Cup. poor him. i mean, people tend to lose it sometimes, right ? i mean.. to err is human ? only that he err-ed at the wrong time. in the papers.. he said, "it was something mental". ok what ? does that mean you just snapped and is going crazy or something ? yikes, no. but i guess we all can forgive him right ? he's definitely the best player to me. he's beyond that actually. he's magical. period.

anyways, instead of Zizou, Trezeguet took the penalty. and it's such a waste that he missed it. awwwh ! i still like his smile though. HEH.

so i'd say the Italians had more confidence. although the defence got breached from time to time, the Fabulous Fabio Cannavaro did a real good job in leading the defence team. YAY for Cannavaro !

my apologies [for criticising] and my congratulations to the Azzurris for winning the Cup !

next topic: the 3rd-4th placing match. people usually refers to these games as "useless and boring". but hey, remember Turkey vs South Korea ? and now Germany vs Portugal. who would have guessed that Portugal was actually capable of even reaching the Quarters ? thanks to Scolari, they almost reached the Finals. dang ! if you watched the match, you'd enjoy it. especially after Shweinsteiger scored twice to win the 3rd place ! woohoo ! caya sama lu ah Tiger ! wooo ! the celebration was HUGE. it was as if the Germans won the freaking Cup ! haha ! and not to mention my joy of hearing that Miroslav Klose was awarded the FIFA Golden Shoe award for scoring the most goals this season. YAYNESS ! Podolski got the FIFA Best Young Player Award too ! so the Germans are the winners. =)

now World Cup is over. sobs sobs. no more football matches for me. =( oh well.. absolutely love this World Cup season. Brazil got kicked out, the Socceroos almost beat Italy to the Quarters, 4 red cards in Portugal vs Holland match, Rooney being sent off courtesy of Cristiano, Divers Galore, costly own goals, stupid mistakes by referees and the ultimate incident, Zidane sent-off.

can't wait for next season. though without Zizou, Figo, Oliver Kahn, Pauleta and maybe even Raul. =(

The Perfect Italian Job ? I Think Not.*

SOBS. Germany lost. to freaking Italians [minus Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Del Piero and Buffon]. who are, mind you, known for their "acting" skills. come on, if you're an Italy fan, you should remember the time when Totti [the Shi-Fu] dived in the penalty box, and dengan tak tau malu nyer, claim penalty and got a red card for that. remember ? i remember. but i don't remember when exactly it happened [was it the previous World Cup ?] but i remembered squealing with delight when the referee showed him the card.

and i thought i was wrong to stereotype him ever since, but he proved me otherwise, once again, this morning. the part where Kehl "kicked" him in the face. "KICKED". padahal time replay takde contact langsung sia ! he got a freaking freekick for that. and gee, he even got himself a few disciples ! [Materazzi, Grosso and Perotta]. freaking liars.

yes, i'm very sore right now. i'm acting like a BIG sore loser. so bear with me. i'll cool down by the end of this post. if can't bear with it, you can skip this one.

the Germans should have been awarded 2 penalties. the first one was the handball by Pirlo and the second, a foul. both occurred in the penalty box. but the referee sooooo POTEK [i know, look who's talking kan. but i'm not the referee. he is.], he didn't even see the 1st deliberate handball, and the 2nd, he gave a freekick OUTSIDE the box instead. like what the ?! andddd it was so stupid of the Germans on their part to allow Ballack to take the freekick. he has no luck at all lar ! why still let him play ?! GRRRRR.

the Germans disappointed me. especially Klose, Schneider and Podolski. they were too nervous. well, can quite understand why they'd be. the World's Best Defender a.k.a Fabio Cannavaro was there blocking their every attack. Philip Lahm, on the other hand, was like the playmaker of Germany. i like !

Though the Italians were dominating the game and showed that they're capable of sweet Italian football [i love how they know each other's moves real well], i don't really like how they act on the pitch. that totally disgusts me. the whole "acting" charade, that is. besides that, they were quite good.

KUDOS to the Italian defense, led by Canavarro, that was really difficult to penetrate. kudos too to players like Zambrotta, Gattuso and especially Buffon for those dope saves.

but i'm still sad that the Germans are out. they're definitely my most favourite team amongst the four. they did put up a quite a good fight throughout the game. Lehmann made some sweet saves.

however, if the final score was to be decided by a penalty shootout, i doubt any would disagree, that Germany would have gone through.

ohyea, did i mention that the commentors were freaking Pro-Italians ? bloody.

France will face Portugal early tomorrow morning and i'm torn between the two. i LOVE both can. but.. i really want the team that can beat Italy in the Finals to win. and between the two, i think France might have a better chance at winning the Cup.

so, my apologies to the honest Italian players [Cannavaro being one of them. ok don't you get the message that he's my favourite Italian player ?! hah.] and Portugal fans [myself being one], i hope France goes through and kick the sorry Azzuri be-hinds !

YESSA !*

HAH. what did i tell you ? Portugal WILL beat England !

ok i didn't state it here but i told several of my friends that England will lose man ! and they were like, "no Deco, no goal. England got Rooney, got Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham, Ashley/Joe Cole, Terry...." diaoz. might as well list down the whole team, kan. -_-"

i think Farhan's pretty mad right now. hah. relax la, brother ! just a game man !

heh. i'm super stoked that England lost. HAHA. oops. ok la.. i kinda pitied them la. about the whole Rooney thing. i seriously think it was Cristiano's fault la. [sorry, Siva. heh.] and i kinda like England la. but as i said, not one of my favourites. they put up a real good fight even though they were down to 10 men. Lampard ! no luck la you ! pitied him man. i think he suffers the same fate as Ballack. both kept going for the goal but with no such luck. by the way, i'm so impressed by Lennon. he's so good can ! and it's sucha waste that Gerrard and Lampard missed the penalties. supposedly two of the best players in England. sighs.

but hey, Portugal's through~ so it's all good man. *grins* hopefully Deco will play in the next match.

on a more depressing note: Brazil LOST. BAHHH. in all the World Cup matches i saw, i gave up watching:
the Italy vs Ukraine match - cos by looking at Ukraine's performance in the 1st half, goodbye la Ukraine.
the Brazil vs France match - Brazil's performance was miserable in the 1st half. furthermore, i can't bear to see Ronaldo running for the ball and didn't get it cos he was a bit slow and Kaka losing the ball ever-so-often.

so for both matches, i ended up sleeping right after the 1st half. and caught the encores instead.

and France really impressed me. they just get better and better with each game. Zizou is back, baby ! woo~ i love his tricks man ! the commentator even said that he should be an acrobat. diaoz ! HAHA.

i think France, besides, Germany, has a real good chance to go to the Finals. Portugal might just make it. as for Italy, i hope they don't make it. i like Italy, but don't think they deserve it more than the others.

so yea.. Finals: Germany vs France. or Germany vs Portugal. MUST HAVE GERMANY K ! hah.
