Over*

i'm back. actually i have to review my work one more time to make sure i didn't leave anything out. but since i did that like a gazillion times, i decided not to give in to my paranoid self.

and my initial intention is to be mad and stay mad at coach Aragones for taking out Raul and especially Villa and leave Torres on the field. cos whenever Torres gets the ball, he either falls [and gains freekicks] or intends to dribble past his defender [which he fails to do so most of the time and eventually lose the ball].

i was too caught up in how the Spanish were playing, that i forgot one thing.. hey, i like France too ! diaoz ! and i was actually surprised of how i'm not so disappointed after all. haha ! you're right feez, at least they lost to France. ok la not bad. HEE.

so yea, that aside.. let's focus on Germany and Argentina. BAH. two of my most favourite teams, going head to head for a place in the Semis. BAHHHHH. so either one wins, fine by me. but i think maybe Germany gets the better hand at this. but then, Argentina will lose ! and if Argentina wins, Germany will lose ! BAHHH ! i'm going crazy.

between Italy and Ukraine, i think i prefer Italy. and i think.. Italy will win.. i think. hehs.

ohyea, i think the referee was really being unfair to Australia during the Italy-Australia match. Grosso dive sia !! then Italy got penalty. -_-" i think if it's not for the penalty, Australia might have made it. and that'd be the first for them. cool kan if Australia gets into Top 8 !

i think Germany and Brazil will meet in the finals again. not too sure about Brazil but i think Germany will make it to the finals. i think. hehs. or maybe France ? hmmms.

there are days when i miss alot of people. and sometimes, when i think he/she doesn't care or too busy, i don't contact them. and eventually they think i'm the one who doesn't care. and as usual, i'll be the baddie. maybe i am ?

at least i meet some of them once in awhile. others, i don't meet or chat at all. maybe i'm too busy. maybe they are ?

the other day, Nisha sms-ed me about the death of this person who has the same name and nickname as one of my friends. before i even get a confirmation from her, i already cried a bloody river. it's really scary especially if you wake up to a message from somebody that your friend was killed in an accident.

such a relief to find out that it wasn't him. especially after talking to Mus the previous day about how he's been missing in our lives. and scolding him for it. really scary. feel sorry for the guy who passed away though. innalillah.

what i'm trying to say is, although i don't say/show it, i really appreciate each and every one of those who paved the pathways of my life. and i'm sorry if i haven't been returning missed calls or sms-es sometimes. i tend to procrastinate and forget about it altogether. it's a bad habit of mine. i'll change. insyaAllah.

before i proceed with my post, i'll take this opportunity to reply to some taggers.

World Cup Mode = On.

yayness ! today, Brazil will face Ghana at 11pm ! okok. so, Ghana's the underdog and Brazil's the previous World Champions.. who will win ? errrrr. what do ya think ?! BRAZIL ALL THE WAY~ actually, i didn't get a chance to see Ghana in action cos missed some of the matches while i was staying over at my grandma's. so.. i seriously don't know what will happen. hope Roberto Carlos will be playing. and of course, dearest Kaka. hee. Ronaldo better toughen up and nail down Ghana ! YEA !!

and if Brazil wins, they will face Spain. that is, IF France loses. which.. is possible right ? RIGHT ???? right, fizah.

Hot Hot Heat ?*

yea many predicted the English couldn't stand a chance in the 40 degrees weather against Ecuador. but in the end, the English won. all thanks to the English Skipper, Beckham. i was wondering where his oh-so-magical freekicks have gone to.

well, don't really like England. but i prefer them to the Ecuadorians, but definitely not on my Favourites List. i think Gerrard drank a lil too much of the energy drinks [stated in Newpaper that the English has brought along litres of energy drinks to keep them at their best especially in a 40 degrees weather] cos man, his shots were powerful ! but.. useless. haha. too far la, Gerrard. Lampard was really trying hard to score but to no avail.. so did Rooney.

ok next, the match that determines who meets England in the Quarter Finals. Portugal or Netherlands/Holland ? of course, my favourite of these two has got to be Portugal. Figo ! Pauleta ! Nuno Gomes ! Deco ! Cristiano Ronaldo [don't really like him all that much. but he's ok i guess.] ! what's not to like about Portugal ?

i didn't watch the live match. caught the encore instead. and man, was it the most heated match this season ! 4 red cards altogether ?! with Cristiano injured, Figo with a yellow card, Costinha being sent off.. and DECO ! being sent off as well.. WHAT ?! NOT DECO !! sighs. well Deco [and Cuco from Holland] were acting like, as the commentor said, "two boys squabbling at a playground". it was really childish of him to refuse to give the ball like that. why Deco, WHY ?! and his face was full of regret and sadness when he was sent off. he was like, begging the referee not to send him off. awwwh. oh well, i guess he deserved that. and Figo. man, he really need to keep his cool. he got a yellow for fighting on the field ?! was that really necessary, Figo ?! and almost everyone on the field were fighting with each other. even the coaches almost got into a fight. sheeeeesh. at one point, i guess the match got so hilarious, that the commentator actually laughed. obviously bemused by the whole yellow, red cards thingy. real mean of him.. but it was kinda funny. haha. especially while watching Deco and the Holland dude [no idea who. hah.] sat down together, talking, after they have been sent off. haha. a really weird match, i must say.

so.. don't have any idea how Portugal's gonna win over England. gonna be a real tough one.

tonight, Italy will face Australia to fight for a place in the Quarters. and i'm torn between the two. i really like them both. but.. by the looks of it, Italy will be the one going through.. unless Kewell does his last minute hat-trick again. or.. the game will drag till Penaly Shootout ? i like that part of the game ! haha ! thrilling, you~ Buffon better train hard.

Ukraine vs Swiss later at 3am. not sure if i'll be watching but i hope Ukraine gets through !

Brazil vs Ghana ? i hope Brazil wins !! *grins!* but Ghana's gonna be a tough competitor.

and lastly.. Spain vs France. *GASPS* i hope Spain wins !! but.. but.. BUT.. ok, i know i have to have faith in the Spanish.. but.. ARGGH ! FRANCE, LEI ! and i like them both too ! more to Spain lar.. but ARGGH ! *pulls hair* definitely a match NOT to be missed, people !!

and so, some contenders of the Quarter Finals are confirmed:

A Disappointment*

that's what i'd use to describe Spain's match against Tunisia this morning.

defense wasn't that great. Garcia was bad. Torres was too impulsive [good thing he made up for it by scoring 2 in. one being a penalty. the other's a real good goal, i must admit. but i still don't like him. heh.] Pernia was too ambitious. Ramos wasn't really showing the "Salgado defense" and they kept passing the ball loosely to one another.

and i don't know about you, but Torres seemed to be falling a tad too many times. and gained lots of free kicks.. which was good. but.. too many falls la. is he running ok ? he got Spain a penalty that time against Ukraine. he got one again today. well this time, Spain really did deserve the penalty, i think. ok.. i don't know where i'm going with this.. i just don't like the top scorer laaaa. hah.

the only good thing, well.. make that two good things, about the match was the possible comeback of my Raul [YESSA !]

and great goal-feeding passes by the wonderkid, Fabregas. he's real good, man.

and.. yea, Spain got better nearing the end. but they didn't really perform to expectations.

i hope the next match against Saudi Arabia would be one that is worth watching. better be good.

VIVA ESPANIA !*

i loooove the Spain's match yesterday that i even watched the encore this morning. HAHA !~ suka suka SUKA LAR !

for those who didn't watch it [what the bloody hell were you thinking ?!], Spain owned the match and eventually won, leading 4 to nothing. WOO NESS ! but my darling, RAUL, didn't get to score. bloody ! he tried, but he didn't get any pass the Ukrainian keeper. and he even gave away his possible goal to another Spanish player [forgot who]. how nice of you, Raul ! and he's so humble laaa. but still, he didn't score. sobs sobs. it's ok Raul, baby. i still love you. HAHA !~ FERASAN ALERT.

and it's been a long time since i saw Iker. hahah !~ Mus must have been drooling yesterday, watching him do his thang~ haha. he was so good yesterday !~ but bloody. he got back to his old habit of chasing the ball out of his comfort zone. IKER !~ WHAT WERE YOU THINKING SEY GOING OUT OF THE BOX LIKE THAT ?! that could have been a goal if it's not for that Pablo dude. haha. nehmind. i forgive Iker. HAHA.

that Villa dude is good man. i like !~ but.. i honestly think that Spain doesn't deserve the third goal. don't get me wrong, go GO SPAIN ! but.. that penalty against that Ukrainian player is really, really harsh. i mean.. you can see that he was pulling Torres before they even enter the penalty box and that Torres fell not because of any contact from him. maybe cos he was running a tad too fast ? heh ? but still that Ukrainian dude was innocent ! sighs. oh well.

and finally nearing the end of the game, Torres scored the final goal. he was like, looking for a bloody goal from the start sey. shian sey tenguk. haha. at last, he succeeded. YAY ! all because of Puyol's header. Puyol, COOL SIA YOU !

i was also looking for Salgado during tha match. i like him laaa. greaaat defender !

SPAIN WON !~ YAYNESS !~

okok yea i know, they have a long, long way to go. but i'm behind you always, SPAIN dearies!~

and i expected more from Shevchenko. he was seriously bad yesterday. SIGHS.

ohyeaaa did i mention i bought the World Cup channels ?! YAYNESS ! that explains my being able to watch encores hehe !

ok enough of World Cup. super busy these days, besides watching the World Cup, also doing some freelancing editing thingy for Sula's attachment company. i like !~ thanks SULALA !

did you guys catch Germany vs Costa Rica ? the game was just so AWESOME can ! especially the last shot by that Frings dude. that was bloody brilliant ! haha ! i like ! and yes Klose scored two ! woohoo ! yea, he was my favourite German player ever since the last world cup. but, he didn't really shine in this match. other than his two birthday goals, that is. i guess he's getting old ? haha. poor him. and that Lahm dude. foooh. nice shot ! quite cute too. HEEE ! well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right ? HEH. and i like that Schneider dude's football skills. he looks old sia, but power~!

Costa Rica's defence wasn't that great at the start but it got better. that Wanchope dude is seriously dangerous. but i think his two goals wasn't that great ah. just that the German defense wasn't strong enough. and why wasn't Oliver Kahn on the field siaaa. that Lehmann dude was seriously screwing up the game. and he reminds of me David Hasselhoff [Baywatch] *shivers*

oh and it's so sad that Turkey didn't make it. ILHAN MANSIZ, I MISS YOU ! hahaha ! and Emre. sighs ! i still remember that super quick goal made by Hakan-Ilhan duo. i LOVE !

anyhoo, yayness ! can't wait to see Cambiasso, Aimar [WOONESS !] and Crespo in action tonight ! ohyea by the way, i didn't subscribe to bloody Starhub's World Cup channels. cos maybe i'm going overseas [more like across the causeway. boring~] or going over to my grandmama's house. so my dad thought it'd be a waste of money, eventhough i offered to pay for it ! nak nak NAK TGK BOLA LAR, PAK ! bleargh ! so yea, have to depend on Ch5 [which correct me if i'm not wrong, will only show semi-finals and finals matches] and Malaysian channels.

and why must pay to watch World Cup ?! bloooooooooooody. it's not like we're going to the actual matches or anything. WHY WHY WHY ?! why can't you just show on bloody Supersports which i bloody have, bloody money-minded Singaporeans [Starhub people] ?!

i miss watching football matches.

and all the excitement about the World Cup, Starhub Cable just rained on my parade.

X-Men III: The Last Stand*

last Tuesday, i watched X-MEN III ! WOO-NESS~

i was so freaking excited before that LARR. all i thought about was how it's going to turn out and what the ending be like. heh.

and finally, the day came. and boy, the show was AWESOME can ?! LOVE IT LARR.

although the show, to me, was a little bit.. hmms. how should i put it ? erm.. too fast foward ? erm.. don't know if it's the right expression to use heh. i mean, what happened to Scott [woohoo ! yessa ! i don't like him, can. he's soooo boring la. Jean + Scott = boring couple. hah.], Mystique and Professor X, were all too sudden for me la. hah.

and.. what the hell did the director do to Angel's part ?! i think, on the whole, he only got like 5 mins of screenplay sey. WHAT ?! and all the hype of Angel, he was only given a very sad 5 mins of the whole dang show ?! he even got the huge billboard space at the bustop after my house lar. he was like my favourite character in the history of X-Men comics and cartoons LARR [besides the raving Wolverine and the oh-so-sleek Gambit]. even when he became a baddie larr. that, is seriously an injustice to all Angel's fans LARR.

BLEARGH !

and although there was no talk about Gambit, i was half expecting him to appear. you know, like the unexpected character in the movie or something ? if the director is more creative, Gambit would be in the show. heh. they said this movie is the last installment. if it is, then Gambit should be in there, right ? but there are rumours about X-MEN 4. i mean, there must be a sequel right ? if you stayed till after the credits, you'd know why.

besides.. what about Apocalypse ? i wonder who'd be playing him if there ever will be a sequel involving the robotic freak-of-nature.

anyways.. last night, me and my sis were discussing about who'd be perfect to play Gambit's role in the next movie [there will be a next movie. keeping my fingers crossed.] the likely possibilities are:

1. Brad Pitt

i don't know why, but my sis thought he'd be awesome for that role. errr. no ? really meh ?! don't think so. though he's so fine~ but, no.

2. Jared Padalecki

ok, i think he'd be perfect for Gambit. though he's not that good-looking la. Gambit's tall, slender with an attitude ? so yea. he's ok. only thing, he doesn't look like an action hero to me. heh.

and lastly..

3. Jensen Ackles

gorgeous hunk alert ! though he starred in action series before [Dark Angel], he's not tall and slender la. so, no.

heh.

and when we couldn't even think of any more actors..

me: sape lagi eh yang tall and slender ? [who else is tall and slender ?]
me: *GASPS*! ASHTON KUTCHER !
me and sis: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!

imagine people. ASHTON as GAMBIT.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

oh boy. that is the joke of the century ! that. is seriously. funny. if Ashton ever got to be Gambit, i'd kill the director myself. HAH.

seriously.

that would just kill my oh-so-perfect image of Gambit k. please eh Mr Director. no funny business.

ok, next topic.

my sis hates birthdays. she hates birthday cakes, birthday wishes, birthday songs and the very fact that people even remember her birthday.

so.. being sisters, we tend to be evil to one another sometimes..

so..
